His arms look like penises in the north/south state. You've pillow-shaded his torso area. I don't even know where to begin with the east state. I'd recommend just redoing the entire body ( the head can stay ). Also, when you're posting sprites, there's no need to post the east and west state. Most of the time they're just flipped and there's no difference between the east/west sprite so it's kind of pointless to have both on there.

I don't see why everyone is being so harsh on him. The shading is not 100% perfect, but it's a very detailed icon. The colors are bad, though. I would recommend using more of a peach color. 2 more things. Don't use black borders, that make it look unrealistic. Instead, just use a darker version of their skin.
Lastly, the side view are kinda messed up. His arms are slanted in an unnecessary position. That's all. -Gavyn | |
It may come off a bit bad, but people mean well in this topic at least. They make good points, and if anything they probably only sound a bit harsh because it sometimes helps get the point across plus so many bases are being posted lately and they all have similar issues.
This base is not that bad, but it does have a lot of issues, including the ones you mentioned, Empirez mentioned, and such. I'm not defending Vrocaan, though, that guys crazy. One minute he's troll-like, the next he's helpful. Very unpredictable guy. In this case he's in the middle, cause he just dislikes the base and the difference between the states. | |

That's pretty much how I am. One minute I'll be a troll in the game, killing newbies, or tricking BYOND newbies to double click the icon, but the next day, I'll be Mr.Nice Guy Helper. Hell, I might even say something nasty about this icon tomorrow.
