For some reason I got banned from a game, and then when I tried to make an alternate account I got no email confirmation, however when I tried creating an account through a proxy it worked fine.

It's possible, yes. But BYOND bans are only handed down from BYOND Staff (Tom, Lummox JR). Being banned from a game does not mean you are banned from BYOND, as game standings have no connection to your BYOND account's standings.

The issue of not receiving your e-mail confirmation may be a bug of sorts. I seem to recall another user having the same problem not long ago, let me see if I can dig up that thread.

Edit: The thread in question.
I'm not even sure why I was banned for the singular game, I could log on from other games fine, and then my friend tried to log on from his computer and now he's banned, from the game
With my account I should specify.

Bans don't carry over between different games on BYOND, as every game is a standalone thing with its own administrative teams and systems. You could try speaking to the game in question's administrators as to the reasoning behind your ban.
Well I should mention I was at a different location, Logged on Fine, but when I got home, and tried to log on I kept getting blocked.

Were you using a different machine? And/or were you on another network? It's possible they may have applied a CID (computer id) ban to you or banned the IP address you were connected from at home.
My work and home computers are 2 different computers, they are both connected to the same main network, my college's ISP, but one is the housing network the other the main campus network.

I tried however on both my home computers so a CID ban wouldn't apply to them both if I'm correct.

I see. Hrm. I'm not entirely sure then.
As it's a specific game, I don't see why they wouldn't implement some combination of IP address, computer ID and key banning.
Well what would result in my friend also being banned when he tried to log onto my account from a different state?
Shared key at some point, matching computer ID at some point. It's really very game specific, it could be just about anything.
The game in question is cardfight capital.
I still can't help you there, you'll have to discuss it with the game developer.
Well I could finally get into the game from work to actually see the banned message, I am logged into a guest account now from yet another computer.

The games forum have a ban appeal section but nearly all of the threads have not even a single reply from any moderating staff.
That's unfortunately, where that ends then. It's not BYOND's business to get involved in the affairs of specific games moderation, administration and staffing.
Is there anyway logging in from another location before you logged out from another could cause banning?
As noted, it really depends on the game's implementation of banning, and needs to be brought up with them.
That's grand.
