I was actually taking bigger mmos in mind like WoW and others. Sometimes a quest wants you to learn how to harvest etc, and thus only counts once you get it but my only point was that they might not be bugs and your answers would be more of suggestions.I was just going off the way the quest was worded.

I do agree though, it would be nice to have the quest description in a different spot.
running during combat is intentional as we thought walking around when you're in battle can be even more annoying.

the map text is still new to spirit age so there are a few more kinks to work out.

that quest issue will be sorted as soon as possible, thanks everyone for taking the time to give some feed back.
The "X" button is completely useless.. For example when opening your inventory, you have to click I twice to get it off, as click X doesn't do that.
Help doesn't say that "D" blocks.. Had to figure that out on my own.
Very fluid gameplay and stunning visuals.

The hand-to-hand against npcs seems ok, though I wonder what your targetting system will be like against players.

Figured out how to equip the fireball skill through trial and error, and honestly targetting with it was a bit of a pain (meaning it required some form of aim, which is good.)

I thought the damage output for that skill should definitely be higher though as the dps is lower than melee, and it IS fire.

All in all this is a demo that only caused further salivation for what is to come. Kudos to you Zane and Chris.

I eagerly await your future updates.
How do you equip the fireball skill though? o.o
Purchase the skill at level 5 in the SkillTree menu opened using B.

Press T to open up what seems to be a blank menu with a bunch of empty skill slots, one of which should be red.

Click and drag this to one of the four slots below your health stamina and experience bars.

It should now work via numerical macros 1 to 4.

Enjoy the badass iconning.
Are the fireballs supposed to do more damage when I add points to power? Because I did, and it was the same. It became more when it leveled up though. Just seemed odd to me. Also when I guard, I am hit for the same amount of damage.

I almost forgot, when you hold the macro you set for fireball you can charge your magic points back up. When you hold S it does the same thing, but it just looks like your standing there. I thought S was always the button with the "Charge up" looking effect haha.

1. When Constable Jonathan gives you the quest to get some blue and red slime, the quest doesn't check your inventory to see if you have any of the items yet; I had one red slime when I started the quest and the quest objectives thing on the lower left didn't pick up on it.

Maybe the quest NPCs are just douchebags? They don't seem very nice, especially the one who likes to eat all that raw slime, he seems like he wants to aggravate you.

*EDIT* SPOILERS!

Spoiler tag goes at top of post duh
A couple of things to add. I would rather not have the red life bar flash. Also, I think the text should be a bit larger.

Overall, looks good.
-Don't know if it was my imagination or not, but I had 2 Spreens attacking me while I was testing how much damage I take from being attacked while holding D and without it, one got in the way of the other, and got killed by its own brother!

-Don't know if this is a bug or not, but after coming back to life and standing still, enemies will not attack you.

-Health regeneration rate for when you're dead should be increased at least a little bit. Not very convenient for grinders, lol.
-Now that I think about it, having mobs being able to attack each other is actually pretty cool. It adds to the realism. Certain mobs would be enemies with another, and if they get too close, they could start fighting each other.

-Also, what if when mobs drop to a certain amount of HP, it lets out a call? The call would attract up to 2 mobs of the same species, and they would start attacking the player. Of course, this does have its drawbacks. If a mob were to use this call, it would be heard by its enemy species, and attract 1 or 2 of them as well. Note that even if ONE mob uses this, it puts its entire species on cooldown for it.

This may be hard to code, but it sure is nice to think about. =P
-When you equip your Wooden Sword, the icon for it won't appear on your character. Equip the Wooden Sword, press A to swing it once, then run around until you aren't in "Battle Mode" anymore (Till you stop auto-running). The Sword Icon should disappear again. Wooden Sword icon doesn't re-appear when coming back from the grave as your clothes normally do. Logging into the game with the Wooden Sword equipped won't show the icon for it on your character. To fix these, simply swing the sword once, and it should re-appear.

-There is no visual difference when taking off and putting on the Black Pants.

-Dropped items go over every external screen, such as the Item screen, or the Mini-Map, the HP/MP/EXP bars, EVERYTHING including the player, excluding the chat box.

-Dropping an item causes the number appear alongside of it to stick with it. For example, dropping Red Slime when you have 5 of them would make you drop 1 Red Slime, and the number 5 next to it.

-Power Attack's damage is the same as a normal swing. Applies to both PvE and PvP.

-Skills dont use up any SP. And make it so that Fireball has its own icon for when placing it on hotslots 1-4. A red dot isn't telling people much.

-Damage taken while blocking is the same as without it. Applies to both PvE and PvP.

-Constable Jonathan doesn't teach you how to equip the Wooden Sword, nor does Warren the Blacksmith.
-Change the death system. This current one, having you as a spirit flying around, can easily be abused to get further into future dungeons.

-Starting controls should show up as a pop-up for new players. It takes some people a while to get how the game works, so just throw that in there for them.

-You can walk through everything inside of the house east of Warren the Blacksmith.

-Fix the targeting system. Trying to target by TAB is annoying when in crowds, and the system doesn't automatically untarget your enemy after a while.
-Pressing one of your magic's hotslots (Like 1 for Fireball) twice rapidly, and holding the second time pressed, causes the Mana Recharge icon to show up multiple times while it charges. The more times you hit it before holding, the more times it shows up on your character. This does not affect your MP Regeneration at all, nor does it affect the Magic that's set on the hotslot at all.

- Mana Recharge bug.

Me doing the bug, pressed the Fireball hotslot quite a few times for this one. http://s1232.photobucket.com/albums/ff372/ Redlink2212/?action=view¤t=SGSpiritAge2012-07-30161818 .png

-By pressing the Fireball magic's hotslot at a rapid but steady pace, you can shoot an infinite amount of Fireballs (or until you mess up), for the cost of just one.

-Sprivers don't "explode," or crumble after they are defeated.

-Flamethrower doesn't hit anything directly in front of you, only if you shoot it, and get the enemy in the "sweet spot" will they take damage.

-Fireball will sometimes fail.
Does anyone still have the host files for this. I never got a chance to try it and would like to do so. thanks.
