I don't get how you can actually shade a turf. If you shade it, the tiling will look ridiculous.

Yes. Just details. I'm not a pixel artist, I'm no good at detailing turfs like this.There are NO tutorials out there that teach how to do stone walls. They all just teach anime characters.

No tutorials that teach walls? All anime characters? Lololololol. http://gas13.ru/v3/tutorials/ sywtbapa_almighty_grass_tile.php Read that series. It will change your life man, or at least, you know, the way you look at pixel art.

Sorry. I was generalizing off of what I mostly see from pixel art tutorials. Specifically the tutorials made for BYOND, since a majority of BYOND is anime.

BYOND is not a different type of pixel art. You have to realize that the internet is bigger than BYOND and search outside of it.
