Descriptive Problem Summary:Whenever I try to logon to a game, either from the pager or the hub itself, nothing occurs. When I try from the pager itself, a popup reoccurs, stating that it won't load, and that I should probably reinstall BYOND. I've noticed this has taken place whenever I lose my internet for a period. I'm not sure if this actually goes here, as I will be the first to admit I do not hang around the forums often, but I did take a look around this forum, and it seems to apply. I also didn't see this in other posts.

Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:
Reinstalled
Restarted
Relogged
Tried a different game

Code Snippet (if applicable) to Reproduce Problem:

Expected Results: Being able to play games.

Actual Results: Not being able to play games.

Does the problem occur:
Every time? Or how often? Every time
In other games? Every game
In other user accounts? No.
On other computers? No.

When does the problem NOT occur? When I make a new user account. While I could do that, I've had to make six already, and I'm tired of having to do so. I know it sounds lazy, but I'm very OCD about what files I keep, and majority end up being deleted.

Did the problem NOT occur in any earlier versions? If so, what was the last version that worked? NO.

Workarounds: None that I know of.

On an off note, I apologize if this doesn't go here, and if this isn't a bug. I also apologize that I'm giving the appearence of being lazy, but I truly love BYOND. So many friends I've made here, and so many great games I've played here. I'd hate to not to be able to continue that.
Hi The Dawning,

Try clearing the BYOND cache,

To clear the BYOND cache, Open the BYOND pager > File > Preferences > Games > Clear Cache > OK > OK.

If that doesn't help, try running the BYOND uninstaller to remove BYOND from your computer, then download the latest version from the download page and be sure to run the installation files as an administrator (right click > Run as administrator)

Otherwise, it is likely that this is a firewall issue. Check your firewalls/ antivirus programs and make sure none of them are blocking BYOND.exe, dreamseeker.exe, or dreamdaemon.exe.

Good luck!
Just got done clearing the cache; nothing changed. I also use Google Chrome, and that isn't an available option. My firewall isn't blocking it either. I do constant checks on that to make sure it won't close out on me when I play a game. It seems to occur only when my internet goes down, as I stated.

Thank you for your help though. Still greatly appreciated.

Assuming you referring to the step where you need to run the installation as an administrator, this isn't something you can do from your browser. You'll need to find the downloaded file in windows, right click on it there, and selected run as administrator.

From chrome, Download the latest version of BYOND > Click the little arrow next to the downloaded file > Select "show in folder" > Right click the highlighted exe file > Run as administrator.

Good luck!
