Hey guyz, i'm new over here, my friend brought me to this website telling me that here's an awesome yugioh cardgame i just have to download... noting else... So i downloaded the windows 'zip' and extracted it in a folder and when i open it there's a little windows with written welcome to BYOND find games to play, Make your own game the latest version etc. But what am i supposed to do, to play that card game??

After that, you just find the game on the website, through the games page with terms like "Duel Monsters" or "Yu Gi Oh" and you end up with...some Yu Gi Oh games. Then you click 'Play Now' after finding the game you want, and going to it's games hub. For this, you have to have BYOND installed - not just download the zip.
The installer link is the actual 'Windows' link, not the '[zip]' part.

Alternatively, you could go into the BYOND application (the pager), File -> Open Location. You could put in the server address of the game, or the hub path.
The address would look something like. byond://1.2.3.4:1234
and the hub path (for either of the two Yu Gi Oh games would be) byond://DevourerOfSouls.DuelMonstersExpert or byond://EternalDuelistSoul.DuelMonstersGenesis
