Punxatawney Phil seems to screw us over more often than not. How about a nice coin toss instead?

Ungh, I can't stand Groundhog day. Back when I was a kid my family lived up in the hills; we didn't have cable. I was home sick one day and they decided to play a Groundhog Day marathon on the only channel with decent reception.

I have been to Punxatawney while out driving, just for the hell of it. It's not terribly far away, decent for an afternoon drive. The town has at least a dozen metal groundhog statues down main street, and lots of groundhog mascots and groundhog-themed names. It's a one-horse town, and a hell of a joke of one at that.
