Lately I've seen a lot of people replying to old topics, what I would like is an automatic lock for old topics, that would also save the BYOND staff some time.

Why's it matter how old a topic is if the reply is still relevant?

That is not always the case.

It is however the case sometimes. Which makes it invalid to lock older topics. We must suffer through the lame to find our dame.

Heh, maybe we should get a custom forum icon for threads that have been recently revived from 6+ months of inactivity. Like one of these tombstones:

This isn't really a big staff time problem.

I don't see it being that much of a problem one whole old topic even when the OP replied ...

As a counter-argument, I've recently seen a feature thread re-raised from ~8 months ago, with a bump. And I think thats a perfectly reasonable thing to do.

Old topics used to automatically label them save as "Archive" and you can no longer post in them.

This is not a big problem or anything that need to be fixed.Byond website is perfect. So this is just waste of time.Maybe in your opinion byond needed this thing but still its is just a waste of time.
