Downloading BYOND Causing Browser Crash

Fearmonger

The last two times I've downloaded the latest version of BYOND, it's caused my browser to crash. I am unable to do anything else on my computer due to this, so I end up rebooting. Once rebooted, everything is fine again, with the new version ready for installation.

1. Download BYOND

BYOND should download normally

but instead, the browser crashes

This problem occurs every time, I only use one computer and one account.

This problem never occurred before.

I don't remember exactly what the last version was that didn't cause this, but this has only happened the last couple of times, the current being 464.1066

Once the browser crashes, I am able to reboot my computer and things will return to normal, with BYOND ready for installation

Lummox JR	If the act of downloading is causing the crash, there is no bug at our end--it has to be the browser or your antivirus software causing the problem. All our website is doing here is delivering a file, and the download isn't active until you run it.
