Okay, so i've just had an idea, the program i've been working on for 2 months that I haven't really announced or shown off due to it still has alot of work to be done to it, so heres my question, What files are required to make a bootable windows 7 with .net framework 4, I don't want the taskbar or anything like that I just want the core of Windows 7 with .NET framework 4
Solved thanks to comment #2

Bootable as in can run off a CD/Flash drive? Or as in will actually boot once installed?
You could look into Windows Embedded Standard 7, this thread mentions some things about getting .NET 4.0 on it: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/quebecmisc/ thread/39fde7ad-2d00-41de-8921-206bf03c35f8 But, I think it would take some serious development time and know-how to do what you're asking (and money, lots of money, if you want to do it legally). You would be better off going with linux. I've used a lot utilities that come on CDs with their own mini-linux "Live CD" operating systems on them, so I assume it's more set up for that. | |
