Descriptive Problem Summary:
Well, I recently installed BYOND onto my server via shell, and everything worked fine up until running the actual game.
Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:
1. I installed BYOND to my user, not the root.
2. Did all the configurations needed.
3. Put 3 games into the default folder, when logging in via FTP. renamed all the folders and files so that everything remains the same
4. Ran the DreamDaemon GameName 1231 -safe on all 3 games.
Expected Results:
Recieve a bad world message.
Actual Results:

BYOND Error: bad world

Does the problem occur:
Every time? Or how often? Everytime.
In other games? Apparently.

When does the problem NOT occur?
It always occurs.

"Bad world" for all three games suggests you're having a file access issue. I don't see how this is a bug; it's a question of how to configure your host.

Welp, would you by any chance to have a solution for this? Or go on about it.
Is it possible the dmbs were corrupted during transfer (perhaps being sent as text instead of binary?)

You might want to visit the linux guild and see if a user there can help you out.
