Updates:
Demo 2 will be out before Valentine's Day soon, there's some heavy interface work being done before I release the next demo. Look forward to seeing equipment, new transportation, some combat (CQC maneuvers, spells, firearms), etc. Demo 2 is going to take a bit longer as I'd like for the progress spanned by each to become exponentially larger with time.

The HUD is being prepared for Demo 2 so some of this may not apply to Demo 1 any more.

See my blog for musings on the game design. It's mostly a place for me to put stuff up so I'll remember to remember it later.

Interactions:
Basic:
Walk with arrow keys.
Mostly click based interactions with items.
When your mouse is over an item/thing of interest, it's name will show up below the map with any description of it in parentheses.

Maneuvers:
Maneuvers are a set of combat techniques that you can use to beat up enemies. If a melee weapon is equipped, that will be used as well. Up to four Maneuvers can be combined into an overarching Style which grants a special benefit to each of the techniques it covers.

Brawling is the key Attribute for using Maneuvers.

Spells:
To cast a spell, click the name of the spell in the Spells tab! Mouse-over them to see a description in the status bar below the map.

Occultism is the key Attribute for using Spells.

Shooting:
When using a firearm, click once to equip it and again to unequip it. If you equip a firearm that's at less than full capacity it will reload (or if it runs out it will reload too).

Only one firearm can be reloaded at a time unless you are reloading it with a 'paired' weapon. You can use two 1-handed guns or one 2-handed gun at a time. Click the enemy to shoot.

Shooting is governed by a combination of Expertise and other Attributes.

Controls for vehicle:
Click driver's side part of car to get in (you can click on your spot in the car again at any time to get out; the car will keep going for a while if not parked)

Up - Shift gears up
Down - Shift gears down (into reverse)
Left - Turn 45 degrees left
Right - Turn 45 degrees right
The cars have a 'manual transmission'.

Click the headlights while driving to turn them on or off. (This is resource-heavy and might not make it into the final cut.)

Demo Medals:
Only [Production] medals and those with pictures at the moment will be available in demos until production is finished.

Medals that become available in demos but do not have [Production] in their description will be available to get after production.

Demo 1 - Crash Test Dummy (Driving)
Demo 2 - Combat Confessional (Combat) - To be released soon
