NR Tree(Help)

I been working on trying make alot of turf and I got around to making a tree, it not complete but am having problems with leafs part of this tree, it seems unright, so i need immediately help with this tree. Please C&C this tree as much as possibly or aleast give me some pointer of what am doing wrong. Please and thank you.

I think you should make the body of the trunk a little skinnier. maybe make it curvy a little

What is NR? And the leaves look like monster hands.

It doesn't look like it has a light source, you should probably try adding one. And, as the others said, make the trunk imperfect looking.
