that's the goal.

It's better than this never seeing the light of day again.

It gives it a chance to grow and develop under someone else who's still interested in making something like this.

I doubt we'll see a huge number of rips.

We'll probably see something like what happened last time - a couple of developers picking it up because they were interested in developing a similar game.
