I don't know how to properly explain it but it would honestly be amazing if there was a way to highlight text that has an obvious color value in it, like "#FFFFFF" or rgb(255,255,255). It saves me a lot of time going back to old code and looking at the color values of it.

Visual Studio Code does something similar: it draws a small box with an outline (for contrast) and fills the inside with the color.
