On a lot of BYOND RPGs there is a set amount of enemies in one area. There end up being more players than there are monsters. After reading a post on MMORPG.com about Guild Wars 2 creating a scaling system I decided to take a whack at it myself.
After a while I finally got the system to work! Now if you enter a certain area while another player is there fighting enemies, then more enemies will spawn for you to fight.
For every player there will be at least 2 enemies to fight. This system also works vise-verse; if the other player leaves so will 2 NPCs. Making sure the game doesn't get too difficult to play.
