Been beta testing the PC version for the past couple days... and I must say, this MMO is worth a purchase. The boss battles, story, and multiple paths allow for a nice amount of play time. Apparently I've only beaten about 6 bosses: Scarecrow, Bane, Queen Bee, Brainiac's Henchmen, Raven (with Cyborg from Teen Titans, but the grown up version), and now I just beat Night Wing (under Brainiac's control). I chose the hero path of course. My guy is like Batman (skill wise), but with the Guyver's looks. More focused on Martial Arts & Gadgetry.
Those 5 boss fights I spoke of earlier are only intro battles. I locked Scarecrow up in Arkham Asylum, but eventually he said he'll break free (via Joker). I"m not really interested in Metropolis because Superman sucks. I'm more interested in Gotham since Batman is the only DC series I follow. Well.. I suppose I can post links to a handful of pics from my adventure so far! The graphics are nice, and don't require a powerful PC to max out.
Another nice thing is combat. It's not about clicking once and auto-attacking. You have to actually control each melee attack manually. Combat reminds me of Devil May Cry sort of. That is a good thing! The game works with a PS3 controller VERY well. Oh, and before I forget... I'll be beta testing the PS3 version when it's ready for me to download. POW!

As you can see, my armor changed over time. I started out basic, and evolved into a Guyver type crazy robotic dude. Pretty cool stuff. Picture #6 is epic cause I slapped that chick into next week and she got electrocuted by the barrier beams! POW!!!
Makes my inner comic nerd want to take over my inner gamer nerd over in some sort of wierd symbiosis...

That looks really awesome, but when I went to register, says registration was closed? I applied for the beta months ago. There will be an open beta test period sometime January. |
Did you have to get in earlier?
