Much progress has been done in completing the game's basic engine. The many quirks and gems of the combat system are complete or almost complete, and some (private) testing sessions were hosted recently (much thanks to Gakumerasara).

The most important thing I'd like to mention is the quest system. Quests in Fantasie can be dynamic enough to be cinematic in a storytelling sense, with constantly-bending objectives and quest descriptions. You usually gain quests by talking to an NPC and accepting a quest they have to offer, but some can pop up at any time! For some generic quests you have the option to quit at any time. However, some require completion or they'll sit in your quest book forever!

Quests can reward you with two things, experience points or "Teka" (this is a coincidence, Teka123!). Teka, in Fantasie, is a measurement of currency that can be split into three types of coins, each worth its value. The type of quests you take, and how you complete them, will directly influence your course of play as well as change the world around you. If you choose to be a total douchewad to people and take on malicious quests, you will slowly become "evil" and have your own perks as well as weaknesses. The opposite would be "good" people, which are pure and do things that benefit others, not themselves. In the smack-middle, there are neutral people. These are people who do anything as long as there's a good enough reward. They are not out there to ruin everyone's day or save the world; they are after power and money.

Quests will be very abundant in Fantasie, from helping the shopkeeper across the street do some errands or slaying some mythical monster and saving the world. Each quest will have its rewards and its consequences.
