Okay so I log on to facebook and I look to my left and see a BYOND APP. I click it and it says it is not supported by secure HTTPs browsing.
Can someone explain this app?

All Facebook apps need a SSL certificate now as they removed using plan http, what you are probably seeing is someone just mucking around or someone has made the app to steal BYOND's name ooohh no!
