Yes it could be that the ad isn't relevant for you (I think most of them try to base ads on geographical location) hence why I get Australian ads.
But I would assume if they don't have anything for your area you'll end but with a blank screen.
The fact that they don't have any fall back is their issue as I would assume they take some cut from when you view the ad so they miss out and you don't get an ad, which could hurt BYOND as those users in certain areas won't see or click the ad :( .
It's supposed to fallback on a default thing in that case but I guess that isn't working. We'll have to test that further.
