I'm practicing my palettes again, and I'm trying out a turf. Leaves, hard for me -- jsin.

The problem when you make turfs is that they always need to be able to blend each others. Even if they're the same. That's why I always as lighter or less color than I can. For the tree, if you are making that kind of tree I doubt it would blend well with any turf unless you use the same palette. Also, the bottom wood part's line look jaggy.
Looks incomplete
Yeah it's incomplete, I need guidance, it's why I posted here.

@Haiji

Not sure what you were saying, but I got that you believe I'm making plentiful turfs -- I'll assure you I am not. I'm just trying a simple tree turf and thanks for letting me know about the jags. I fixed them and will be updating this post.

I just heard you were the current owner of Naruto X, huh?
Your leaves are lacking detail compared to the tree trunk, at least the top is. That one glaring flaw makes the whole thing look like ass... sorry.
Your very bottom layer of leaves shouldn't be so light, remember they would be tucked kinda underneath the others, the side of the trunk is horribly formed(not being mean it is), and your lacking a proper perspective and light source.
Here goes my summary:

The piece is incomplete. I have a problem with creating leaves so I left them out until I had proper guidance/critiquing. I'm updating the tree trunk as I type and I'm uploading it as well. There are a few things I'm sure I overlooked so thanks to you all so far.

@ Haiji

No? I am not? I'm not sure where you heard that at.
Oh yeah you could make the entire bottom layer dark and have a dark blue as the shadow on that layer?(forgot to say this earlier)

I'll try that.
