BYOND uses the old dialogs for opening and saving files. Vista introduced a new interface for these dialogs, but this isn't utilized by BYOND for some reason, which is annoying for those of us used to it. Would it be possible to use these on machines running Vista or newer?

Also, when you type a path into the New File dialog manually and the path doesn't exist, Dream Maker complains about it instead of giving the option to create the path for you. This can be really annoying, since the 'Browse For Folder' window can be tedious to navigate through.
While I do prefer the new dialog, I don't mind the old one in the least.
The open/save dialog uses a common Windows control for use. This makes it easy to be cross-platform. Introducing platform-specific code for a simple dialog seems kind of pointless to me.
