I uploaded version 296, but you can only get it through the download page. Since it is just a minor patch containing a few things Dan fixed this morning (notes), it's not worth broadcasting at the moment. Mainly I'm releasing it now because it contains a bit more debugging output (in .debug trace-client) for those of you getting freezes. If you are one of these people, please test it out! The rest of you are encouraged to download it if you have the time or inclination, to help find bugs on the slim, slim chance that someone (Dan) messed up the patch :)
