This issue has been resolved.
I am actually running BYOND version 500.1209, but it does not show it in the BYOND version list.

Anyways I got this bug when I attempt to host Shell Server:
Welcome BYOND! (5.0 Beta Version 500.1209)

For future reference, you can choose Other... in the dropdown list.

Ahh... Did not see that. And this is fixed, just had to reinstall byond
