Sigurd started as a relatively private server, made for those on /tg/ who valued role-play over the robust combat system. The servers style has shifted as the populations play-style changed, and today we find ourselves in a unique position between /tg/ and bay. An emphasis on role-play and long term character development, but a hands off admin approach that encouraged players to deal with tough situations in character, almost no restrictions on what you could play and how you played it. Of course outright grief was never tolerated, no matter the reason.
Many people enjoyed this about Sigurd, and found the experience to be fun. However, as time passed, as it is want to do, we found our small servers population diminishing; as older players moved on, life taking a priority, and some just didn't feel the server was right for them. We have made the decision to open the server to the public, and we hope that all willing and able share in the same experiences we gave the last generation of Sigurdians.

Hey can we RP as a serial killer or maybe someone insane, pr just be a dick. On some servers they tempban you just for punching a guy for no reason, luke if you are doing that you are drunk! Is it ok?
