Well, I'm making an RPG (or at least trying) and I'm still stuck on how I should icon the buildings...
Which one's I'm considering:


-Where there's a roof on the building, and you have to walk in for the roof to disappear.

-Seika styled, where the buildings are 32x32 icons.

-The usual see-through walls.

-Some type of angle downwards, as if looking down at the house at a 45 degree angle.

Eh, dunno. I originally started with the angle one, but the problem would be that I'd want to make some castle type buildings, and it'd get a bit too complicated to icon all of that, or at least I think so.

Any way you guys like them best?
There've been a lot of conversations about this: it boils down to, "Do what fits your game best".

And what best fits your style. Cause at the end of the day it is YOUR game, and YOUR vision. Just do what's best for you.
