I don't pixel art but I've made friends with a couple great artist on BYOND so I do know the technique and whats good or bad.
Your art has no perspective,terrible shading, and terrible colors EDIT: Atleast Hebrons knew his old art wasn't very well and wasn't in denial about it. | |
Just wait til everyone logs on they'll tell you the same. No one is trying to be mean its the truth. Go practice and read some tutorials.

I'd rather not, since I like my art style as it is. "Everyone" will say their opinions, however that doesn't mean what they believe is true. You just generally have no art taste, being a fact.

The base for JI is okay, mostly because it isn't the small generic look you see in most anime games, but it's far from spectacular.
The wood tiles decent. Everything else is pretty eh. Aside from that, I share in Ganite and Yut Puts opinions. Also, that's kind of off topic so just to get back on topic... I did forget to mention Zete. He's good. His game, uh Blackfire? I don't think is out yet, but it may very well end up looking fantastic. It's an old style of art, but Ultimatum still holds up pretty decent as well. Not one of BYOND's finest, but above average. | |

I remember back in the day it was rare to see a game with good quality graphics. Now just about every upcoming game has high quality art.
