I have some macros set that are not game specific. For example, because it was necessary for so many games I have the + key set to macro "get" for all game. However, that means that if the game has its own + macro, my macro apparently overrides that. Maybe that's just for old games, I don't know. The problem is, with the current version of BYOND, I haven't a clue how to change my global macros to get rid of the "get" macro, which I don't need right now.
I'm pretty sure you can just delete the macro from the list. And if you don't want that and they let you edit the skin, you could just change the macro for the game yourself.

Yeah. How?

Click on the macro, press the Delete button.
I wouldn't mind having a better means of handling global macros, too, so we can have different "macro sets" and perhaps allow exceptions for particular games that the user could configure. Solving this problem would take care of one of the major design issues standing in the way of native joystick support.
