How often are the packets being sent and received between a BYOND Game and a BYOND Server?

How large are the size of these packets, on average anyway?

That depends on the game, and varies wildly between game implementations.
Yeah, I've figured that much xD. Just curious if say a chat game type server will just be sending per-say 32-54 byte sized packets?

How much of a difference would it make if the game included icons and a map?

Ideally just want an average for a basic/standard BYOND game with only chatting features, and then one with basic implementations of a map and resources.
