Hello there, I've run into a problem trying to host a game.

Now i notice that byond removed the ability to create hubs for non-members. This is all fine and dandy.. but I have an old hub-entry from years ago that i thought i could use, question is; can it be used to host?

I get the error "Byond hub reports port 1112 cannot be reached by players" . But the port is open, I've opened access both in my router, windows firewall and antivirus program. I've also opened it up for the programs in question.

I used to host alot of byond games back in the days and never had problems. so Any ideas? is it because I'm not a member?

best regards.

As far as your hub question, yes you can still use the hub as long as you have the hub path, and you don't need to be a BYOND member to host and non-members can create hubs as well.

And as far as your hosting question, read this. Specifically the post by Higoten when helping the topic creator. It should be helpful for you.
You need to portforward.
