Just watched it. 100:1 she was probably abused for about 10 years and forced to play the piano. That thing she's wearing is proof enough!
Not to sound too stereotypical, but many Asians that show prodigy-like abilities come from very strict parents. I happen to know quite a few people who have parents that are very, VERY strict with them when it comes to school, and because of that they seem to be a bit "nerdier" and smarter than others. This girl probably had extremely strict parents who would sit her on a piano for hours at a time, punishing her for mistakes. | |
