Determining what version a server is currently using is pretty much guess work right now, and there's not really any way I'm aware of to just log a server version number or client version number for bug testing that some random player could do.
What I'm suggesting is a command for both dreamseeker and the webclient that returns the server version and the client version where applicable, and maybe other things like user agent where applicable.
Something like .ver or .about

Using
?format=text Example. http://www.byond.com/games/DarkerEmerald/TLC?format=text |
Version: 507, 498
Still a command wouldn't be a bad idea.
Also the console doesn't tell about specific patches just the overall version.
