Hello BYONDers!

Excel URL Desktop Shortcut

I would like to create a Shortcut on my Desktop that links me to a specific spreadsheet page. I can only use the "referenced" way in word documents and html pages, but not in file explorer.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
VBScript to the worksheet per this post?
I want to avoid VBScripts because when a spreadsheet is opened on a different PC it requires an confirmation to allow script to run.
a simple batch script perhaps?
I want to create a shortcut on everyone's desktop to direct them to a specific spreadsheet page. No scripts, because that usually requires user confirmation and usually they do not read the box and hit the wrong option. I want this to be simple so it does not confuse computer illiterate people. I may have to have them open up a spreadsheet and click the hyperlinks, but that would probably be to complicated for the people this is intended for. I am working on getting SharePoint initiated in this company, but I am failing miserably because people fail to understand because either they are to old, or do not know how to turn a computer on.

In the excel document, this works fine: http://files.byondhome.com/Ripperman5/ excel%20spreadsheet.PNG

But I find that it might be too complicated for them to open a spreadsheet and click a link. When I moved into SharePoint 2013 from 2010 the icon color changed from orange to blue, that confused the hell out of everybody.
Could you not use a Macro?
