Sprint Mobile Broadband tweeks?

Does anyone know of any? (to make it faster)
Because I'm at a friends and want to play BYOND, but it's too slow...

I use the Sprint network through a third-party provider with good speeds. Make sure your modem is set to EVDO Only mode, and see if the modem has a ##DATA menu where you can set your home address. Setting this value to an area closer to you will greatly reduce ping times.
