Well, I'd like to ask some opinions on my computer build and what y'all think--

Q9450 Overclocked to 3.3ghz
750gb Spinpoint F1 7200.11
4gb G.skill RAM underclocked and unlinked from FSB
Antec 900 (don't hate)
DFI Lanparty x48 Motherboard
X1650 Pro
700 Watt GameXstream power supply

Now as you might be thinking...what the heck?! A kick-*** build with an X1650 pro?! What's the guy thinking?! And a 700 watt powersupply when the thing probably struggles to use 250 on load?!

The 700 watt powersupply is to power my future CrossFire HD 4870's...which have been proven to have a minuscule difference to the GTX 280, and in crossfire will make the GTX 280 look like crap...

So how's my build post-CrossFire HD 4870's?

x/10
Depends on how much you bought the stuff for.
I just bought my PC a month ago, and tempted to buy a Quad Core whenever they hit the 3Ghz - 4Ghz range. If the price is right. :)
Sounds good as long as crossfire isn't as annoying as SLI to setup. Half the time it doesn't even work and you get a lot more blue screens of death with SLI, if crossfire is anything like that, i'd go for a seperate card. If it's not, then get crossfire for sure

EDIT: Most quad cores can do 3-4ghz if you overclock
Nice build.

Get that Q9450 to at least 3.6GHz. Should be no problem for a Core 2.

Heh I have my 4870, and this baby's getting watercooling before my second 4870...I'm getting my Q9450 to no less then 4ghz, and that's final!
