Naruto0727	okay i did a system restore to day 1 but it didnt delete everything like the guy i talked to from dell said but anyway it wont update my computer you know the little goldish icon it says the following did not install and theres over 80+ to update if anyone could help big thanks.

Barf. I just wanted to make a confusing sentence XD

Anyhow, OP: System Restore usually just 'rolls back' your Windows installation, and tries to leave all your files and things safe. It usually works well, but if you want to just wipe everything clean, you should either reformat and reinstall Windows, or use restore discs to get your machine back to factory defaults. Dell will send you a copy of the restore CD's/DVD's, usually free of charge.
