I remembered some more:

Sheetz original location was in my hometown, the War Governor's Confrence (to declare war on the south) was held in my city*, my city was once the rail road capitol of the world, and we have the Hoarseshoe Curve in my hometown.

*The government idiots bought the building that the Confrence was held on and instead of turning it into a landmark, they made it a post office :P

We have a lot more than that. The main one that I can now think of though is Memphis in May and all the other musical events that take place throughout the year.
We also have Beale St.

Well, lessee.

Vancouver is hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics. And we have Science World.

More importantly, though, I live here. That instantly makes it the best city in the world. ;-)

Bud! Random question... are you attending college/university anywhere around Vancouver? I am in grade 12 this year and searching around for a good university or college to attend, heh... :)

Not yet -- money woes. Too rich to qualify for financial aid, too poor to be able to pay my way without having to earn a bit first. I have to provide at least 1/3 of the tuition myself. My dad will pay another 1/3, and my mother will pay the final 1/3 (though I live with my mom and know that she might not be able to afford that).

I'm planning on attending Simon Fraser University, however, unless a better option comes along.
