Over a lot of hot topics, people seem to get extremely upset over relatively minor issues.

For example, I'm probably the last person you'd see supporting Dragonball games on the Hub -- I'd probably be happy if they were all deleted somehow, and I think of most DBZ game makers as terribly misguided -- but I don't let my personal feelings influence my personal opinions of others who disagree.

There are two ways of contesting peoples' statements -- attacking them, or attacking their ideas. The first way is childish, whereas the second is intellectual. If someone disagrees with you, explain why you disagree with them -- don't call them a moron because they have a different opinion. That's practically the basis of fundamental Nazism.


Please, please, keep your discussions civil. If you disagree, attack the points, not the person. I hate having to close threads which actually have good material in them.
