Okay, so I'm not gonna provide the list. But let's start one and add to it for what people should NOT do in a game.

I'll start off with a few.

You should not..

1. Add aspects that seemingly pointlessly boot someone from the game. (Seiya's "Keyblade Masters" game does this..)
2. Hand out administrator status as if it were Christmas candy.

You people continue from here. =P Or something..

P.S.: I don't know if this has already been done, so. :P
Never add it so strength is the point of the game.

[edit]
This could work, but the people who have played more would boast and kill all the new people
[/edit]
Never tell everyone your going to make a game, than half way though the creation, you get bored and move to another game...
Never ever ever sell source codes
Never make a game public if it doesnt have an exp. system if you game is exp. bases.
Never start off someone elses code
Never hire a "coder"

Your turn

Umm? Sorry to say but a lot of games you love wouldn't be around if people never sold source code.

I mean to full games, selling sniplits are ok, but full code is a bad idea, because:
People resell it
Poeple use it without any idea of how it works
...

I havent played a game on byond in like 2 months besides my own. MLAAS is the only game i see fit to play, and i doubt the maker bought a source code for it.

Here's another one that's Veeery Important..

When you know about a bug the REALLY needs fixing, FIX IT, DARNIT! :P Sometimes people don't get that, so um, I'll label it clearly.
a no-no?, not chatting in Chatters!
Don't pull a "Dracon"....

So I should make no money from my hard work, and let any moron use my code to make a game of their own instead of making money from my hard work? That isn't making sense to me.
