Is it easy to switch between versions of byond, or are there some hidden files that make it difficult? would it work to have 2 main byond folders and just rename whichever one is in use at the time to "BYOND" and leave the other one with a different name like byond4 or byond5 when the other version is in use?
I cant play some games that are compiled on the newest versions, but some seem to work better on older versions. I also usually do my coding on the older version so that people running the old versions can connect to it.

Just download the zips from here and run the programs from the /bin folder. That's the easiest method of version switching I know and use myself. If you open Byond or any other Byond program from an installed link though, such as the Start Menu, it will open the version you have installed.
