OOC Rules

As a rp game it is important that all of our players not only understand how to roleplay, but how to keep composure out of character. Building the community is a team effort which requires everyone to be on par as to what is allowed both icly and oocly.

For this to be a success, I suggest the following guides to all players:

1.) Use the "Admin Help" command in the player options if you have a question or are in need of assistance. Do not use OOC for this unless it is a question that a player is able to answer.

2.) Keep all IC matters out of the OOC channel. There are exceptions to this - for example, speaking to a friend through OOC to pick up where a previous RP was left off, is okay.

3.) Do not link players to obscene content. No nudity or anything that would put a person off of their dinner. This includes links to games and another other content promoting another.

4.) Any complaints should be posted on the forums. Staff decisions, for example, are not up for debate in-game but may be contested on the forums: keep any unneeded drama out of the game.

5.) Do not purposely cause conflict. Insulting another player is not tolerated-- players are expected to converse with respect and maturity. If you feel that a player is trying to provoke you into breaking this rule, please contact an administrator to resolve the issue. Never, ever, lash out at them, otherwise you will be punished too. Do remember the community accepts people of all races, genders, and ages so let's try to keep everyone comfortable.

Additionally, we expect players to carry themselves with a decent attitude when it comes to roleplaying. For example, if an event is occurring, and your annoying the say channel with rude remarks, and irrelevant bickering, that is enough to be banned. Joking (in good taste) is fine, of course... But what I'm referring to is irritating to the admins and it's a downer to the majority of others. If you have a problem, the medium is the forums and admin help. And if you insult others while explaining that problem, or have an attitude, you will probably just be removed.

We do not want people that cannot communicate maturely and sensibly. Those that do not do so aren't allowed on DotB(Excluding criticism).

6.) If you come across a bug, please use the forums as a means of submitting it. If you fear that a bug may be abused, contact an admin immediately.

7.) You should always use AHelp to issue a complaint. Creating OOC conflict and damaging the fun of RP isn't permitted - and it's something that we will not tolerate.
