Why does my post's comments keep getting disabled?

I posted in the right section so the comments shouldn't even be disabled.

That's how Classified Ads work. Comments aren't shown, it just starts a new private/direct message with the OP. For example, I'm able to "comment" on your classified ad at the moment, but it would just start a private conversation between you and I. Other people wouldn't be able to see what we're discussing.

If I recall, this change was because people would shit on users, turning Classified Ads into flame wars.
