Literally asked a question, had a guy downvote and post some snarky comment without ever once even reading my question and then proceeded to look through my account and downvote literally EVERY answer and question I had ever posted on StackOverflow. The way these people treat you, you would think you murdered their families or something. To be fair tho, when I was in high school all you ever heard teachers say was "don't use Wikipedia, anyone can edit it". The computers at my school weren't even allowed to edit Wikipedia, when you tried it said something about we were banned from making changes iirc. I'm guessing because of their reputation of being an unreliable source of information due to the fact that people just go there to write stupid shit sometimes, they've become anal over the years and are no longer giving people the benefit of the doubt. Their default is probably to assume each new contributor is a moron that needs to be thoroughly vetted and proven not to be a troll before they are trusted in any capacity.
