This is just a demo on how to do client side saving for games. For instance, Lets say you play a game on Jim's server and save a character then you go and play on Joe's server and save a character. It saves each save file on the server itself. You would not have the same character on Joe's as you would on Jim's (or visa versa). With this you will have the same save file on every server.
