Filter Layers

The ability to apply a layer to a filter so that we can control their layering as it's causing issues when using the "drop_down" filter.

I would need to create dummy objects underneath every wall a layer lower to achieve what could be done easily with this request.

I think you mean drop_shadow; there's no drop_down filter.

Unfortunately adding layers to filters is impossible; filters are something done to an individual icon, or a KEEP_TOGETHER group of them, after sorting.

I think what you actually want is something that would create a copy of the image on a lower layer, and apply a shadow-only filter to that. And actually in your case, I think what you really want is to draw all the shadows to a sub-plane and apply the filter to that.
