You have to be more specific when asking for help.

What do you mean, "has become incompatible"?

Do you mean... BYOND is not installing?
Or, BYOND is installed, but you cannot run games?
Or, you can run games, but Dream Seeker freezes after some time?

You should also include some technical information that you think could be useful.

If you press

Windows+R

then type

dxdiag

and press Enter in the box that appears, you are presented a window that displays many useful things about your computer, such as the Operating System version, how much RAM you have, etc.

It would be nice if you could either post a screenshot of it, or upload the text file it generates, for example.
