Descriptive Problem Summary:
When you move not fully opaque pixels those pixels will act as if the Mask you use is part of the icon and thus get pasted on the mask and "create" a new color. Also if you select and move something the mask color will change in that selected area to pure black, and stay like this until you exit and reenter the icon state.
https://gyazo.com/6e97336b5e9e765c330f05f5814a42fe I have a bright green mask on and you can see how the transparent-ish pixels change between very dark black and bright green.(the color was originally brown, but that automatically changes to black once you move it, since the mask turns black on the selected area when you start moving)

Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:
1. Open a new .dmi file.
2. Draw something which is somewhat transparent.
(2.b not necessary but turn on RGB+mask mode)
3.Select some of those pixels and move them.
The somewhat transparent pixels not changing color as they are moved.
The somewhat transparent pixels moveable anywhere without any interference by the mask's color.
Does the problem occur:
Every time? Or how often?
Did the problem NOT occur in any earlier versions? If so, what was the last version that worked?
It wasn't a problem before the icon editor's overhaul (aka. 512.1455).
Haven't found any.
