With 16 thumbs up (as well as a few heart_eyes) on the suggestion thread on the Discord, I've taken the liberty of putting together a rough draft of what I believe is a proper Common Knowledge Guide. The purpose of a CKG is to establish what characters know when made (with accommodation for racial/planetary knowledge) to cut down on metagaming. Now, people may not agree with certain things being included/excluded from the list, as people on these types of games are, but I feel like that will further exemplify the need for Hobbit/the admins/a dedicated CKG master to hammer out a solid guide without playerbase input.

Universal Knowns
This is information known by every character upon creation.

1. Their birth planet's name.
This one is a given, it can be safely assumed previous generations named the planet.

2. Their Species' name (where applicable).
While it is fun to call Namekians 'Pickles' and Saiyans 'Vegetarians', it can once again be assumed the name comes from previous generations. Note: this does not include 'Aliens', as the term may be mistakenly used for metagaming other planet's existence.

3. Their name.
You are either told your name by your parents, or you make up your own name. There's no reason to run around claiming you don't know, then subsequently telling people 'no' when they try to name you ICly.

Universal Unknowns
This is information not known by any character until discovered ICly. This list is not exhaustive, but mainly focuses on the biggest offences of metagaming.

1. The existence of other planets.
Unless discovered ICly, you have no way of seeing millions of lightyears into other solar systems to observe other planets with life.

2. The Dreamworld.
Nothing perceived in the dreamworld is to be taken as anything other than that, a dream. It doesn't matter what the dream entities tell you, or what they look like. It's all a hazy dream to you.

3. The Afterlife.
Unless you are currently dead, a denizen of the Afterlife, or a dimensional hopping entity, you do not know/believe the existence of the Afterlife or it's denizens unless directly shown. This is to keep character's fear of death believable, as well as preventing characters from instantly believing in the divinity of Kai/Demons that teleport in front of them. Characters that pull through from death do not retain any memories made in the Afterlife. This does not apply to beings resurrected magically.

4. Super forms.
Until achieved, no character knows of any super forms, nor has heard of any 'legends' of super forms. This includes Saiyan Giji, but not Changeling transformations.

Racial/Planetary changes
This involves specific knowns and unknowns from being born of a certain species or planet.

Vegeta
1. Saiyans undergo the oozaru/great ape transformation every month because of the moon. The name of the transformation is decided ICly.

2. It is not known that the transformation is brought on from the tail, nor would a Saiyan willingly allow tail dismemberment.

Earth

1. Korin Tower is not known to characters outside the appropriate rank unless shown.

Namek

1. The Dragon Balls are not known to characters outside the appropriate rank. With the immense power of the Dragon Balls, no Namek Elder should willingly expose their power to those they cannot trust.

Icer
1. Changelings know they possess the ability to shapeshift into stronger forms, hence the species name. The exact mechanism of how it happens isn't known, but it's seen as a coming of age ritual.

The Afterlife
1. The existence of the Living Realm is known. As denizens of the Afterlife, Kai and Demons have prior knowledge of the Living Realm as well as the presence of the planets mortals inhabit. It is assumed that they have been herding spirits since the beginning of the universe, and the knowledge passed down through the generations.

2. Kai know that mortals should not have common knowledge of the Afterlife, least the Living Realm be turned to chaos at the knowledge of life after death. Thus, they do not travel to the Living Realm unless an existential/universal threat appears and it is deemed necessary.

3.Death is the natural conclusion to life, and should not be reversed lightly. This could lead to a breaking of knowledge 2.

4. Hell is a terrible place filled with vile demons. No soul should be put to eternal torment unless their actions are truly horrendous. Natural born aura is not grounds for eternal damnation.

5. Demons in the living realm do not qualify as an existential threat. Trusted mortals may be sent if the infestation is severe, but a demonic presence in the Living Realm is considered natural.

6. Kai planets are known to the Kai, but their locations are not unless the relevant rank shows you. A non-ranked Kai does not have the power the reveal planet they know the location of.
Natural born aura is not grounds for eternal damnation.

^This. Aura is such a surface-level judgement it's ridiculous.
You forgot to include the part about how Techies should post invention RP if they make a new tech for the very first time.

That way, even if they're by themselves, the rp will be in their logs incase any disputes come about
as to their roleplaying of the technology.
Also hobbit should really consider making sensing auras a higher level of sense, like how you can't sense specific stats and such until you have more energy, do the same for Auras.

Make sensing Aura the highest level of Sense, above sensing stats and before sense galaxy please. Also Check point guardian and Supreme / Grand Kai should have 'sense aura' as part of their rank, but not a buffed sense ability, only the ability to by default sense aura once they learn sense.

I also heavily suggest that when the true wipes start that one of the functions for admins is awarding Aura based on IC behavior. And generously. If someone's really evil, consistently, give them evil aura that reflects their actions and impact on the galaxy. If they're really good, do the same. But Aura is affectual, so it should be a matter of the affect that person has on the rest of everyone else, not just their personality / alignment.

If someone's super evil but can't hurt anyone, they can't manifest dark enough aura to get a stronger evil aura. The same goes for good people and helping others, and in turn, good aura. Killing people shouldn't be the only way to obtain aura. It should be very easy to get your aura changed if you're affectual toward others and your character is in line with the aura change.

Someone else that's super important is revive really needs to not kill Kai. It needs to be a large decline hit(which could make you age to death..) that can be gained back with meditating... but with cycling in, gaining decline from a day of meditating isn't viable anymore... so idk.
This is not an RPing guide, this is in-character common knowledge. This does not include technicians role-playing inventions, the mechanical implications of sensing aura, admins handing out aura modifications, or the mechanical implications of Kai revive.

Furthermore, you should know that aura is not related to the sense ability (as far as I'm aware), nor does it have any mechanical standing in Genesis. The admins have too much to handle with 100+ players, the last thing they need is people bothering them for aura changes that do nearly nothing and are detected by nearly nobody.
uhm, fyi I could sense aura last wipe.

Furthermore. I don't care about all that noise.
Then don't comment.
