Hi there.
I'm getting an error message that says "Could not run dreamseeker.exe" when i try to join a server. Any help would be appreciated.

I found that if I open dreamseeker from its file location and enter the server info it will load but then close when i reach the menu. :(

It sounds to me that BYOND was not properly installed on your system. Either that, or there's some kind of major permissions issue messing things up.
