I can't imagine saving it is overly useful anyways outside of edge cases. I vote we add this to my ever-growing list of stuff that should be /tmp by default. Like overlays/underlays (which almost never do what people expect when being saved/loaded until they know better), and the various mouse pointer variables (which I think Lummox already changed).

Can always save it manually if you absolutely need to, like any /tmp.
